After endless recitations of my medical history to doctors, housemen, specialists, professors, medical students doing case studies, nurses, surgeons, interested fellow patients, physiotherapists and friends;

After four drips changed from right hand to right arm to left hand to right arm;

After ten injection holes, three of which are failed attempts to either draw out blood or to put drips in;

After fifteen days of super sianness staying in the hospital watching tv and listening to the radio, by now i can tell you all the most popular songs in Singapore currently, trying to do my QT, but gave up when the drip's on my right hand, coz i can't write with my left hand, believe me journal writing using my left hand is even worse than the worst guy's handwriting;

After countless nurses responding to my calls for help for all sorts of reasons;

After being able to log on and use the internet of NUH to check what's up with spanish at 11.30pm one night;

After having to wait till 12am to get my last dose of antibiotics everyday and waking up at 7.30am every morning to get my temperature and blood pressure checked;

After hoping everyday that the lean-toot-tall-athletic-but-not-good-looking-doc-at-all to come and hear my heartbeat, squeeze my legs, and ask me if i'm in pain or not, he's got good clothes taste;

After changing rooms once;

After making two new friends, one a nurse, the other an 18-year old girl who was admitted for eye infection;

After fifteen patients have come and gone with me still stuck in the hospital;

After eight meetings with five specialists to figure out how to treat me;

After one operation which lasted four hours to take out all the infected tissues;

After many well-wishing visitors bringing me gifts and hopes and care and concern and fun;

After fifteen days of eating forty-five hospital meals;



I am finally HOME!!!
and i don't really feel like talking about my medical history.
