Choir tonight was just simply very very good!! Maybe it was partly caused by the fact that i haven't sang for like three weeks! but today was the ultimate choir nights i ever had in this year so far!! We were just running through all the pieces, haydn had 6 movements i think, and mozart had 5 movements. and we were just going through all of it, and finally got a feel about how the songs actually go, and it's really good coz i loved it so much, and we didn't go into tiny details for every part, it was stressful for some parts like "in gloria dei patris" and the "amen"s and the "credo" movement no. 3 which had all the different latin words in it, which seriously takes up a lot of your concentration, and it helped me to take a lot of things off my mind, coz in that 2 and a half hours worth of non-stop singing, you only think about the next note coming along and wanting to come in on time, and trying to hear the other parts and yourself, and the pianist, and watching the conductor to know when to come in, and counting the beats. yes, singing is not as easy as you think it is.. haha. but it was good, and it was a good break from FA, and spanish and commlaw, and just plain good music fun. Loved it so much!!!
