I've never knew the significance of letters until yesterday, when I've received a letter from Church (the Singapore one).

Letter here means post mail, air mail, not e-mail.

Yesterday, i thought i was late for formal tea, so i took a cab home, because i know my legs can never take me further than 3 streets.

When I got there, everyone were at their respective places, eating, thank goodness the High Table was not occupied yet, or i would have been dead.

After formal tea, everyone went back to their rooms and did their stuff. On my way to my room, Jason shouted, "Amanda, you've got mail!" and i was like "Huh? What mail?"

He said " Mail, you know, Mail, mail at the pigeon hole, airmail, letter?"

And i said "Oh thanks!"

So, i made my way UP to the mailboxes, and there, lo and behold, under the mailbox with the surname letter "T", there was only ONE letter, which is addressed to ME.

I took it, and started tearing away and had a look at the letter, which turned out to be a card from the church in Singapore, COOL.

And as i was going back to my room, the second time of the night, Masa said " Amanda, do you know you've got mail too?" and i said "yupz, i'm reading it now" with a big smile plastered on my face.

So, please send me mails, not e-mail, but real mail, because if i get one mail here, everyone will make a BIG deal out of it, and it just makes you happier, like someone out there still cares about you and have not forgotten about you, and by the way, they did not send it by courier mail, but by airmail, and it still got here safely, so please send me mails!

THANKS!!!
