The sky's very pretty today.

I woke up at 2am this morning because my beloved mommy sent me a birthday message via sms, and when i read it, i just cried because my mum actually went throught the trouble of sending me at midnight, and the message was so SWEET!

I woke up at 7.30am this morning for my 8.00am lecture. I always had a problem of waking up early for tuesdays, but i managed to get up today.

There was this birthday board where someone is in charge of putting up birthdays of the week, and my name wasn't there, so i felt quite sad that no one will know that it's gonna be my birthday.

While eating breakfast with a group of people who have no idea that it is my birthday, my friends (the girls) came down for breakfast, but they sat at another table coz there wasn't any room at my table.

Sarah shouted "Happy Birthday!" to me, and i said thanks! which soonafter, resulted in everyone else at her table saying happy birthday to me, which made my day a little happier.

Then, when I walked out of college and i saw the sky, i was just so overwhelmed because the sky is just so beautiful today. The past few days had been gloomy and rainy, but today it was warm, bright and sunny. The clouds were beautiful, the skies were a clear blue, no chilly winds, just breathtaking beautiful weather.

And that was when I thanked God with all my heart for giving me such a wonderful birthday present, by making the skies smile for me! Made me cheer up a little more.

Then during the lecture, i was sitting next to my friend who didn't know or couldn't remember that it was my birthday today, but we still managed to get a good decent conversation going.

Then after, i was expecting that something will happen as all people do on their birthdays, but nothing happened. I just went to the library and mugged for my test.

After which, i had a commercial law tute, which thankfully, i'm a JUDGE, so i do not have to present anything, just make a decision and basically slack for a while, in which i was going through my accounting concepts in my head for the test.

Then, well.. the TEST. it was quite okay. They invited me to dinner on friday night and they said some stuff which i don't really understand, and wished me happy birthday before and after the test.

I went to pack lunch and took a bus home.

When i reached my room, i saw two presents sitting outside my door, and the wrapping is so nice.

They're from the girls- my buddy, Bec -> thanks lots for the present!! I love it! :) ; Carol & Sarah -> thanks for the chocolate babes! you both got me my favourite flavour and brand!!

Then, my mum rang me and wished me happy birthday proper!! Double dose of wishes.

Just before tea, tegs came with a present, so nice of her to get me one.

Then, i went late for tea by 10 mins, cause i was busy unwrapping the presents. None of my corridor people greeted me 'happy birthday', and that got me a bit sad because they're like people i live with and they seem like they don't care.. sigh~, but only ronnie was so sweet to leave me a phone message!

As i was late for tea, i had to had dinner all alone by myself at a table with 3 other girls who i don't usually talk to, but they left later, and the rest of the people came and join me, but there wasn't much conversation though. I had pasta and peaches, then i headed down for choir practice for founder's day performance tomorrow.

I realised that i can sing! Really, i can. I'm in the alto position of the choir and i'm having a GREAT time! We're singing after-beeps and hail Holy Queen, and we have actions and grooves to the song which i hope i can remember tomorrow.

We practised for 2 hours straight! And it was so tiring, coz you need to concentrate on the harmony, the notes, words, and actions, and we were standing the WHOLE time.

Oh, just before we started revising after-beeps, we did hail holy queen first, mel came in with a present for me i think, but she didn't pass it to me coz we were singing.

So i went to find her after that at the dining room, she wasn't there, so i thought maybe i go to my room and she'll probably have left it there, so i got to the staircase, and there she was coming up the staircase.

So she said "Happy Birthday" to me, gave me a hug, gave me by present which she got with Chloe. And when i got in to the dining room, everyone greeted me 'happy birthday'.

So all in all, i had a great birthday, but it is also the first time when I did not have a birthday cake on my birthday.
